Mike Coin Presents Short Course at IRINFO 2018

Mike Coin, field supervisor with Jersey Infrared Consultants, presented Short Course 2: From Planning to Reporting – How to Properly Conduct IR Inspections of Electrical Systems at IR/INFO 2018.  Infrared inspection of electrical distribution systems is one of the most popular applications for thermal imaging. On any given day, thermal imaging is used to detect evidence of a wide variety of hidden problems in facilities worldwide.  Coin explained, “The success of an infrared inspection relies not only upon proper interpretation of data, but also the proper planning and execution of the work.  This presentation was based on the years of experience at Jersey Infrared Consultants and focused on how to properly plan and execute an infrared inspection of a typical electrical system along with requirements for generating a standards-compliant report.”
